Business Management and Administration

Associate in Science in Business Management

Always wanted to start your own business? Interested in a career in accounting, finance, management, or marketing? This associate’s degree program will give you a solid understanding of the American business enterprise: You’ll hone your communication, teamwork, and research skills; will learn basic theories of economics like supply and demand; and will be trained in several computer business applications.

Upon completion of the program, you’ll be prepared to move on to a bachelor’s in Business Management & Administration (which will require another 60 credits, approximately) and/or move on to pursue a career as a junior accountant, banker, nonprofit administrator, marketer, advertiser, or financial analyst—depending on your specialization.

Students must take required courses for the general core requirements, and then complete the required Business Base. Students must also choose to specialize in one of four business-related concentrations: Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing.

The total number of credits needed for this major is 62-66 credits.
